Get the chance to meet Jacob Stein, who was recently awarded with the prestigious award, Winemaker of the Year at the 2017 Mudgee Wine Show!

Jacob comes from eight generations of winemakers. After furthering his winemaking experience and knowledge in different wine regions around the world, he returned to Mudgee in 2009 and took up the winemaking role at the family winery.  His passion and dedication for his craft has led to many wins not only for himself but for his beloved winery as well.

Riesling Range

This range has received medals and trophies in various Australian and international wine shows.

For winning 8 trophies and medals last year, this wine has more to it than meets the eye. It has the perfect combination of flavor and mouthfeel, with aromas of lime fruit and citrus. Its slight sweetness yields a tangy finish.

A recipient of three awards, this wine starts with fairly strong aromas of fruits. It almost feels dry and yields a middle long finish.

With its 4 awards, this classic Riesling is crisp with a little sweetness and gives a bone dry finish.

Family Range

This sweet aromatic white wine gives citrus and passion fruit characters on the nose. Its lime and green apple flavours have a clean palate, promising a balanced sweetness to finish.

Many love this smooth medium dry wine in crimson pink. It brings nuances of berry fruits and some herbs, with a long pleasant finish.

This lightly sparkling aperitif has apricot overtones. It goes well with anything from bruschetta to cheeses or antipasto.

Sparkling Range

It has aromas of blackcurrant and berries. It gives star anise and fruit-cake-like flavors on the palate and a long finish.

This light and refreshing drink brings lingering citrus on the palate.

Premium Range

This bouquet has the aromas of red fruits, citrus, and spice. It also has a deliciously refreshing dry finish.

Golden yellow in colour, it brings apricot, peach and other fruit characters on the nose. Its flavors of luscious citrus give a rich palate. Its acidity gives a long finish. 

Reserve Range

This is classic Australian red wine is among the world’s top 9% wines. It has rich aromas of glazed cherry and earth notes. It is medium bodied and with good length. 

This blend consists of 97% Shiraz and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon.  It has a dominant bouquet of blackberry and earth, with soft tannin. Since it is filtered, decanting is suggested before serving it. 

This wine won a gold medal in 2017.  It has rich citrus notes on the nose and palate with nice acidity to finish. 

This vintage wine has blackcurrant and leafy aromas. Its grapes are handpicked, fermented in open vats and given gentle hand plunging, yielding a medium bodied wine.

Fortified And Dessert Range

This dark violet wine has the rich flavors of plums and raspberries. It also gives a full palate and a lingering finish.

Aged in old rum barrels, this one is for the more adventurous. Selected wines over ten years are carefully blended.

History comes alive with the Vintage Motorbike Collection displayed on the property. See Robert Stein’s collection of motorcycles, rare collectibles, and photographs. Steiner was an avid motorcyclist during his young years.
