Lowe Wines is now a byword among well-pleased holiday travelers to the wineries in Mudgee, NSW.

So, what makes Lowe Wines one of the most popular Mudgee wineries?
Why Lowe Wines Is Amazing
1. Great Location And Views
Lowe Wines is a short drive from Stay in Mudgee. Located 0n Tinja Lane, it has picturesque views over the vineyards and across the Mudgee Valley. There is ample seating for you to sit and admire the view whilst enjoying any number of their quality wines.
2. Award-Winning Cellar Door
Upon arrival you will understand why they were named MUDGEE STAR CELLAR DOOR in the Gourmet Traveller WINE Magazine top cellar door awards. The cellar door is housed in the actual winery, where you can get a insight into how the wine is made. If you visit soon, you will actually get to see the 2018 vintage wines being made! Their surrounding gardens are also something to be admired – much of what you eat (you must order a platter to go with your wine of choice) is grown on site. Fantastic country hospitality is what you will get when visiting the Lowe Wine cellar door.
3. Consistently Producing Quality Wines
David Lowe is a fifth generation wine maker and a leading wine industry figure. He has work all over the world crafting his skill and is one of the most passionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. His wines are a true reflection of the region and of consistently high quality. His most notable recognition for a wine is having won the trophy for the best zinfandel at the prestigious International Wine Challenge in 2003. At the cellar door you can taste the range – the icon riesling is a personal favourite!
4. Organic And Preservative Free
Concerned about preservatives, have allergies but love a good wine? It is a certified organic vineyard and winery and produces a very enjoyable preservative free Shiraz – the PF500 Organic Shiraz (PF meaning preservative free and 500 meaning ml’s in the bottle).
5. Friendly Service
Guests can look forward to great customer service from the Lowe Winery staff and even from its owner/winemaker David Lowe, who would happily share stories about the wines, vineyards and winemaking. They also offer guests delicious tasting platters, with fresh seasonal produce grown on-site or sourced as locally as possible!
6. Special Events
Check its website for the schedule and other details on its special events. They have lined up Harvest Tours, Twilight Tapas, Winemaker Experience, Tunnel of Lowe, Mudgee Wine Festival and others. They sure know how to host an event – get in quick as they usually sell out!
